You can delete your Blackboard account yourself at any time, from the website or either app.
In the app
- Open Me, then Account settings
- Scroll to Delete account and confirm
On the website
- Sign in and go to Account settings
- Scroll to Delete account and confirm
What happens next
- You're signed out on every device.
- Your name, email address, phone number, password, profile photo and bio are removed straight away.
- You lose access to your courses, classes and certificates. This can't be undone.
- We keep order and payment records, without your contact details, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Teachers: request a payout of your remaining balance before you delete your account.
If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you within 7 days.
